  • Communications & Marketing Coordinator

    NEUF architect(e)s is looking for a Communications & Marketing Coordinator to join its team in Montreal.

    As part of the Marketing & Communications team, and in support of the Creative Director, the Communications & Marketing Coordinator will have the following roles and responsibilities:

    • Support social media strategy and multi-platform content delivery, including updating the editorial calendar;
    • Write and adapt content for all platforms (web, social and print);
    • Participate in the development, planning and implementation of communications and marketing to promote NEUF’s activities;
    • Coordinating the drafting, editing, approval and distribution of press releases;
    • Assist internal teams in drafting and preparing proposals when responding to offers of services;
    • Ensure that you are constantly aware of the firm’s activities with the goal of preparing media content about current projects, awards, media coverage, nominations and competitions;
    • Be a promotor of NEUF’s visual identity.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a similar position;
    • University education in communications or marketing;
    • Excellent communication, writing and translation skills (English and French);
    • Ability to meet deadlines;
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
    • Flexibility, proactivity, rigour and teamwork;
    • Good synthesis skills;
    • Extensive knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram) as well as traditional media;
    • Knowledge of the Windows operating system and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
    • Proficient in Adobe software (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc.).

    • Knowledge of architectural methods and materials, related design and construction trades, the Ontario Building Code, and the Ontario Fire Code, in order to attend site meetings and revise construction documents

    Requirements

    • Master's Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Design or relevant field
    • Registered Architect is preferred but not a requirement
    • 8+ years of proven experience in all phases of design process, preferably in renowned offices, with a strong knowledge of the GTA market
    • Strong conceptual and design talent 
    • Excellent knowledge and experience in early design phases such as conceptual and schematic design
    • Excellent knowledge of detailing, construction documents and consultant coordination
    • Strong understanding of building codes, products and materials
    • Strong Revit, Rhino and Adobe Suite skills
    • Motivated, positive, resilient with excellent strategic and a critical mindset
    • Confidence in working on challenging projects, ability to set priorities and manage a number of tasks concurrently
    • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Fluent in English with oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of French is an asset but not mandatory
    • Flexibility for occasional travel
