GlaxoSmithKline

GlaxoSmithKline

A global leader in pharmaceutical research, GlaxoSmithKline Canada (GSK) was in need of office space that fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange, while also serving as a welcoming space for visiting clients.

Our team worked alongside GSK’s own architects to develop a concept that aligned with their corporate DNA, while still adapting to the realities of North America. We proposed new office spaces that could be designed and delivered in a mere 8 months.

Starting with the aesthetic identity of the company, we opted for vibrant colours and a highly dynamic environment that embodies the ‘smart working’ philosophy developed by their European counterparts. The color palette was carefully balanced with clean design, high-end furniture, and abundant natural light.

Certified LEED Gold, the building uses recycled and re-usable materials, high performance mechanical equipment and solar panels that reduce annual energy consumption by up to 40%.
