Awards and distinctions Grand Prix du Design 2013 - Offices less than 20 000 ft² / Prix Grafika: New Identity and more!

In 2012, to mark 40 years of constant evolution, DCYSA decided to re-launch under a new banner: NEUF architect(e)s – a complete re-brand that also involved a move to new offices.

Our team is now operating from the 32nd story of 630 boulevard René-Lévesque West in Montreal. Built between 1960 and 1962 and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, this international-style tower is one of Montreal’s first modern skyscrapers.

Formerly occupied by BMO Harris Private Banking, the new layout sought to preserve the original wood paneling and intricate herringbone parquet floor. The renovations aligned precisely with our focus on preserving historical character, something we’ve showcased in many of our projects.

These unique interiors were perfect to satisfy our ambitions. The goal was to create a collaborative space, one that would encourage dialogue between teams and stimulate creativity. To achieve this, we opened up the studio space to create a shared, luminous environment while preserving as much of the interior finishes as possible.
With breathtaking panoramic views of the city, the new space also allowed us to revisit how we showcase past achievements: our 360° Portfolio. Vinyl graphics on our windows point towards our many projects dotting the horizon – a unique way of valuing our staff’s hard work.

The rebranding and new offices were widely recognized within the industry. In particular, the quality of space and signage impressed the Jury of the Grand Prix du Design, noting they were integral to the success of the project.
